Multi-family office scale.
Single-family office feel.
A comprehensive range of services to manage your financial life across generations — each one individually tailored to your family.
When wealth becomes a second full-time job.
A family office exists for the moment your financial life outgrows any single advisor — when the investment account, the operating business, the trust, the property and the next generation all need to be managed as one system rather than five separate relationships.
Holden Family Office was built by people who ran a single-family office. We know what that level of service actually requires, because we delivered it for one family before we offered it to many.
The result is a firm with the breadth of a multi-family office and the attentiveness of a private one.
Seven disciplines, coordinated as one.
Every service below is delivered in-house or led by us in coordination with your existing attorneys, accountants and trustees — so you are never the one holding the pieces together. Select any discipline to see what it covers.

Why families choose a multi-family office.
What a single-family office costs
Running a dedicated office generally means hiring a chief investment officer, a controller, an administrator and a support team — plus technology, compliance and premises. For most families it is an expensive way to reproduce capability that already exists elsewhere.
- Full staffing and payroll obligations
- Technology, reporting and compliance infrastructure
- Key-person risk concentrated in a small team
- Limited deal flow relative to an institutional platform
What we provide instead
Shared infrastructure across a small number of families, with the same standard of attention. You get the team, the technology and the private market access without building any of it yourself.
- An experienced team already in place
- Institutional reporting through eMoney and Black Diamond
- Direct access to private investment opportunities
- Continuity that does not depend on one employee
Understanding family offices.
What is a family office?
A family office is a private advisory firm that manages the full range of a family’s financial affairs — investments, tax and estate planning, philanthropy, reporting and administration — under one coordinated relationship. Its purpose is to grow, protect and transfer wealth across generations rather than simply manage a portfolio.
How does a multi-family office differ from a single-family office?
A single-family office serves one family exclusively and is funded entirely by that family. A multi-family office delivers the same breadth of service to a small group of families who share the infrastructure — the team, technology, research and private market access — at a fraction of the cost of building it alone.
How is this different from traditional wealth management?
Traditional wealth management is typically centered on the investment portfolio. A family office starts from the whole picture: the operating business, the trusts, the real estate, the tax position, the philanthropic goals and the next generation. Investment management is one component of the engagement rather than the entirety of it.
Who is a family office right for?
Families whose financial lives have become genuinely complex — multiple entities, concentrated or illiquid holdings, a recent or anticipated liquidity event, cross-generational planning needs, or simply more administrative burden than they want to carry. If you are coordinating between several advisors yourself, that is usually the signal.
Do you work alongside our existing attorney and CPA?
Yes, and we prefer to. Long-standing professional relationships are valuable, and we are not interested in displacing them. Our role is frequently to be the coordinating point among your advisors so that strategies are consistent and nothing falls through the gaps between them.
How do we begin?
With a conversation. We will discuss your situation, explain candidly how we work, and give you an honest assessment of whether we are the right fit. There is no cost and no obligation. Schedule a call to get started.

Let’s discuss what a family office would look like for you.
Tell us where the complexity is. We will tell you plainly whether we can help.
